I founded Stander Forensic Services, LLC out of a belief that medicine and law share one essential purpose: seeking truth. After decades in patient care, medical education and clinical leadership roles, guiding teams and making decisions that shaped patient outcomes, I see how often legal professionals face uncertainty when medical facts are unclear, often resulting in inappropriate legal determinations.
My simple conviction is that every case deserves clarity and honesty. I now help attorneys make sense of the most complex healthcare situations with the same dedication I continue to bring to patient care and clinical leadership. My path began with a passion for geriatrics and internal medicine, fields in which many decisions affect quality of life, functional status, and, at times, life expectancy. Over the years, I have led hospital quality programs, guided peer review processes and helped build systems that uphold accountability in patient safety and quality care. My move into consultancy came from witnessing how difficult it can be for attorneys to interpret medical evidence, especially in cases involving older adults or institutional care. I now strive to ensure that every client receives the benefit of honest, informed medical legal analysis, helping them pursue justice with confidence and understanding.
